Aura Quartz is quartz bonded with platinum and silver vapour. Silver is considered protective in legend and for its antimicrobial properties; Platinum for its hypoallergenic properties. Quartz is used to cleanse environmental energies and chakras. Its rainbow lustre gives aura quartz an ethric quality. Under pressure, quartz creates a piezoelectric charge, although the thermal heating of the bonding process reduces or removes this ability. However, metaphysically, aura quartz can bring peace, angelic inspiriation and fairy dreams. Ornamentally they are very beautiful and would be suited in one of our spiral pendants.
